There are many interesting attractions around the Skibbereen area. One of these is Drombeg Stone Circle (see the more detailed account in my Travelogue), another is Lough Ine, which is one of the few salt-water lakes (perhaps the only one?) in Ireland. The nearby harbour town of Baltimore is a sailor's mecca (though I couldn't find anyplace that sold "99"s).
This Bed & Breakfast is ideally located for exploring the area. It's easy to find, just a couple of miles due south of Skibbereen on the main Baltimore road, on the left. The proprieter is Carolyn O'Neill. She was very friendly and made us feel comfortable right away. Of the three B&B's I describe in this travelogue, I think I liked the breakfast the best here, though they were all quite good.
